After almost 14 years of working passionately for Den Ouden Groep, Chairman of the Board, Jochem Langenhuijzen has decided to retire during the anniversary year.
For the first six years he worked as a Business Economics Adviser, during which he and his team took care of the development of the organisation. Following this, as the Financial Director, for four years he was responsible for internal operations, together with Berrie den Ouden, as director. More than four years ago, he was given the opportunity to take over from Berrie den Ouden as Chairman of the Board. Together with Harm and Rob den Ouden, he completed the management team, with great pleasure. Jochem langenhuijzen held a farewell reception on 31 August 2018, in which he thanked all Den Ouden Group associates for the pleasant collaboration and faith in our company.
Renewed management team
Jeroen den Ouden MSc joined the Den Ouden Group board on 1 January 2018. Just like Rob and Harm den Ouden, Jeroen is one of eight third-generation cousins working for the family business. Because of his proven qualities, he has been asked to become a member of the management team.
A new era has begun
The third generation represents a great challenge to expand the company over the next twenty years and then transfer it to the fourth generation. Besides the long-term goal, the short term is very clear: our aim is to achieve a turnover of 100 million euros in 2020. A nice challenge that we all stand behind.
Den Ouden Group celebrates its 70th anniversary
Den Ouden Group 70 years old in 2018! We are very happy and proud that on 9 June 2018, we were able to celebrate the 70th anniversary of family business Den Ouden Group, together with nearly 500 members of staff and family. The anniversary party took place at the Guus Meeuwis concert, 'Groots met een zachte G', in Eindhoven.
